About me
Buckle up! Pastor Cornell Jordan is truly one of a kind. He is passionate, highly energetic, fun, driven, and absolutely crazy about Jesus!
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, he came to faith through the work of the Salvation Army. It was there that he received his call to ministry and since that time he has given his life to help both the young and old come to know the Lord better.
This is of great joy to him and he has criss-crossed the globe sharing the message of the Gospel all over. This includes doing ministry in Kenya, Madagascar, the Philippines, Mexico, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and all across the United States as well.
In 2018, Pastor Cornell was elected as Lead Pastor of Metro Assembly of God in Youngstown, OH. In addition, he serve as one of the seven Regional Presbyters for the Ohio Ministry Network (OMN) of the Assemblies of God in Ohio. In this role, he assists the Network Superintendent in executing vision, strategy, church health and multiplication, as well as minister relations.
Big on discipleship, missions and diversity, Pastor Cornell has a desire to make faith in Jesus Christ more practical and applicable to all people. And at Metro he is helping more and more individuals and families grow spiritually, become stronger relationally, and discover their purpose.
Yet all this comes secondary to his call to love and serve his family. Kristin, his wife, has been by his side from the beginning. Together they have two young adult children, Chris and Halle. When it comes to hobbies Pastor Cornell loves hanging with his wife, jazz music, dancing, and connecting with friends.
